GNSS network of the Cadastre of the San Marino Republic
The Cadastre of the San Marino Republic decided in 2006 to create its own GNSS network. The Laboratory of Geomatics was appointed to give scientific advice and to perform planning, data processing and adjustment.
The collaboration dealt with:
- planning and implementation of a GNSS permanent station
- planning, processing and adjusting a geodetic network
- planning, processing and adjusting a levelling network
- defining the datum transformation between the existing cadastre reference frame and the GNSS one
The geodetic network was composed by:
- a permanent station which is called RSMC
- 20 GNSS vertices
- 66 baselines
- less than 1 cm global accuracy
The levelling network was composed by:
- 83 levelling points
- more than 50 km levelled
- 1 mm precision
